Mairi is an illustrator and maker from Scotland, and graduate from Duncan Of Jordanstone College of Art and Design in Dundee as of 2019.
Her work often focuses on minimal and playful interpretations of the natural world, drawing inspiration from folk tales, traditional stories and mythology. Within her practice she enjoys dabbling in a range of different tools and processes – her particular favourite's being ceramics, printmaking, digital work as well as classic drawing methods. In her free time, she is a house plant enthusiast and has a keen interest in shiny shoes. |
